Anna

In a hospital, a young nun (Anna), while nursing a severe casualty patient, recognizes the young man she was to marry. While he undergoes surgery, her thoughts flashback to when she was a nightclub dancer, and bartender Walter’s lover: a cynical, callused individual, the exact opposite of Andrea (now battling between life and death). Coming out of her “reverie”, Anna is caught between the reawakening of her love and her religious vows. Andrea begs her to marry him. She’s about to give in when a disastrous rail accident fills the hospital with wounded passengers. Her duty prevails, and, however sufferingly, she give up the dreams of her past.
