Climate change, conflicts, greed. Mankind is hitting rock bottom, so heaven decides to send a new messiah to earth. The angel Aristide (Valentino Picone) is entrusted with the task of “insufflating” the new Messiah into the womb of a new Virgin Mary. Aristide thinks he knows his business, but he doesn’t, and with unforgivable carelessness he ends up “impregnating” Nicola Balistreri (Salvo Ficarra): a bigoted professor obsessed with his own prejudices. Drawn by the events, the two will end up forming a team – or rather a family – of sorts, in the hope of getting out of trouble without doing too much damage. We’ll witness stuff from another world… and this one, too!
