David, 36, has always wanted to become a novelist, but ended up working as a communication manager in a household products company lead by an evil boss. His occasion to improve his career is the presentation of the new revolutionary company patent, but the day before the event, Marcello, an extremely clever trickster, fools David and take away from him everything he has: money, car, girlfriend, job.
With his life twisted upside down, David decides to run after Marcello for revenge but, when he finally finds him, he is fascinated by his life style and decides to join him in his swindles.
